Part 4: Third Step: Create Your Own Positive Environment
Part 5: Fourth Step: Act Now
As I mentioned in the previous step, failures result in loss of confidence. It takes less than 5 seconds to overcome the quality of giving up. This is one of my favorite quotes, “When you feel like giving up, hold on for little longer.” The reason for giving up in majority of the cases is the failure of our plans. When a person realizes that his plans are not working, the easiest path he can pick is to “give up,” and the toughest path is to hold on until completion.
Unfortunately, the majority of people pick the easiest path, because as humans we tend to spend little energy for any kind of change. Consider this; when you plan, you tend to think all kinds of situations and circumstances and finalize a plan. When you put so much effort, and if you realize that plan is not working as planned, instead of immediately changing your plans, stick to your original plan. The main reason for you to do this is that when you made your original plans, your brain is completely stable and you considered all ‘ifs’ and ‘buts,’ but when you make plans during the process of failure, the brain is under influence of negative attitudes. So do not make any decisions at that moment, continue and stick to your plans. Never give up.
Five steps that I mentioned in this post are few of many ways to build positive attitude. Take one step at a time, implement it and go to the next one. Do not proceed with the next step, unless you master the first step.
